What it is
Cloud and infrastructure is the foundation your application runs on, whether that’s the cloud, your own bare-metal servers, or a hybrid of both. It’s the servers, networks, containers, and automation that decide how easily you deploy, scale, and recover. Done well it’s invisible; done poorly it’s a constant tax on every release.
What it isn't
It isn’t chasing the trendiest stack or lifting everything onto Kubernetes because it’s fashionable. And it isn’t cloud-by-default, sometimes the fastest, cheapest option is hardware you run yourself. We pick the simplest setup that meets your real needs, cloud, on-prem, or both, and codify it so it’s repeatable rather than hand-built.
How we work on it
We map what you’re really running and where the pain is, then move you toward infrastructure as code (Terraform, Ansible) so environments are repeatable and reviewable. We containerize where it genuinely helps (Docker, Kubernetes) and design architecture across cloud (AWS, Cloudflare) and bare metal that scales without rewrites.
We’re equally at home on the cloud and on-prem, and we’ll tell you honestly when a workload belongs on hardware you own, or back on it, instead of paying a cloud premium. A hybrid split, deployed controls on bare metal with the app tier on a managed platform, is often the sweet spot. Migrations and cloud-to-on-prem repatriation happen in small, reversible steps, with cost and risk measured at each one.
That includes the plumbing that’s easy to overlook, networking, DNS, load balancing, and the CDN edge. And on-prem doesn’t mean we have to be in your datacenter: we work through remote hands or alongside your own sysadmins, so you get senior infrastructure help without another full-time hire. Good infrastructure makes uptime possible; deciding what “up” means and defending it is reliability engineering.
